Since 1952 this historically significant property of the Latvian non profit organisation Daugavas Vanagi was used as a cosy guest house for those Latvians who had to leave Latvia after the 2. World war. Since Latvian independence guest house had to move in direction of a professional hotel and welcome international tourists from all around the world traveling to South of Germany to city of Freiburg.
Due to changes the property badly needed the face lift and improvements in infrastructure as well as changes in property management and guest service.
